2. SENSITIZING PRODUCERS TO THE IMPORTANCE OF THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS

2.1 Awareness campaign aimed at producers to encourage adherence to certification.

– Organization of awareness and information actions aimed at milk and cheese producers in order to encourage an increase in the number of cheese dairies interested in producing cheese with PDO and consequently also increase the number of milk producers able to supply dairies with this production model.

2.2 Program to support the preparation of the competitions for the event “Queijos DOP de Portugal”.

This action consists of the creation and training of a panel of tasters to support the dynamization of the contest for the best PDO cheese of the center region and of Portugal, which will be composed of 7 tasters.
